First, I want to thank you SO much for your continued support - for those that have been here for a while, through the journey of Red, to Red closing, to Nalu, and now to Nové, there’s been a lot of change in the last year right?
I’m so excited to share some things so you can get to know Nové before your first visit - whether we’ve known each other a month for over 15 years (OMG!), I am SO grateful you’re here to make this transition together!
Change is exciting, but also challenging sometimes - I want to help you feel comfortable and at home in this new space!
Along with everything new, here are some things that are staying the same with this transition to Nové:

I highly recommend following @novebirmingham on Instagram - you’ll be able to get a preview of the salon before your first visit!
A few things to look forward to:
Nové has free parking - there is a small lot behind the building for you, as well as free parking along Webster, the street just south of the salon.
The salon is on the first floor of the building - no more stairs! I am so happy to have a fully accessible space for all!
Coming in on a Saturday? Nové has complimentary mimosas every Saturday waiting for you!

Nové is home to Davines and Kevin.Murphy products - if you’ve been with me for a while you may remember these product lines from years past at Red! I can’t wait for you to find some new (or rediscover) favorites to add to your haircare at home!
If you absolutely love your current haircare favorites, I encourage you to continue purchase them moving forward! You can find Milbon, Redken, and more in my online store, and Kérastase or Bumble and Bumble are still at Nalu, as well as online.
Do you currently have a future appointment booked? If you do, your appointment has been booked at Nové and will be the exact same day and time!
Nové uses the same booking system as Nalu, so you can look for the same notifications for your appointment reminders moving forward! Make sure you opt in for text notifications when you’re prompted.
Need to book a future appointment? Booking an appointment is the same as it has been - by getting in touch with me directly or calling Nové at 248.645.2653 for any urgent changes.
